Dream of Obama and War

I had the dream recorded below in late 2008 or early 2009 regarding Obama and war. At the time Obama was being herald a great peace maker. But what we are seeing in the Middle East today - in my opinion - is the fulfillment of this dream.

On the Globe and Mail Web site this morning there is an article titled "Obama’s big risk: How his Libya gambit will end." It talks about how Obama embraced war in Libya to avoid massacre. While his ethics may be highly reasoned and understood we are still seeing wars increase under his administration. He came in chastising the reasoning of another president for wars about oil, when this one could be interpreted the same way.

By the way, did you know that Libya is Africa's top oil producing nation and the 9th largest oil producer in the world, and that Europe is its biggest customer. Is it a coincidence you think that France and Britain led the coalition to fight this merciless tyrant. What about the Sudan where hundreds of thousands of people have been killed in the last 4 or 5 years. Did they not deserve aid from their tyrants?

Is this a man of peace or a man of war. Is this a man that will do anything for oil?

He is not a savior, only Jesus Christ can save man from his own pain. He is just a man like any other man, and now one with much blood on his hands.

Dream from 2 years ago

Just after the inauguration of President Barack Obama I had a dream. In this dream I see the President walking in the streets of a great city. He walks from one side of the street to the other greeting the people that are assembled. He looks at them without looking at them. It is as if he allows them to consider him without him considering them.

He is with an entourage of people looking out for his security and his needs. As he passes, I notice armies emerging within the streets and war begins to take place. As I walk the streets the armies are fiercely fighting one another. I see many conventional weapons (guns and mortars). The armies are highly organized. It is as if the war is a game to them. I feel that my safety is an issue and I want to get away from the location of the battle. The dream ends.
